Chaplain’s Corner

With the laying on of hands, many prayers, and anointing of oil by the elders of the church, Calvary Chapel Mira Mesa sent Jason & Lora Owen as missionaries to Twentynine Palms, California. Pastor Jason currently serves as a Navy Chaplain to Marines & Sailors and their families at Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center’s Protestant Chapel (Christ Chapel – also on FaceBook: www.facebook.com/ChristChapel29Palms)

Twice every Sunday (0900 & 1030), Jason and the Chapel community are going verse by verse through Paul’s Epistle to the Romans. It has been a fruitful time!

Lora is a tremendous blessing and help, without whose daily support this ministry would be impossible! In addition to being a hard working stay-at-home mom, she is an active member of the Christian Women’s Fellowship (a powerful, effective women’s ministry).

This page has been created as a means for the Owen Team to remain plugged in with you (the body of CCMM), and you with them. They see themselves as missionaries and CCMM their sending church!
