I Have Received Jesus

God has a plan for you. I have received Jesus as my Lord and Savior, now what do I do?

1. Don’t forget that God loves you and has a special plan for you. (John 3:16 and 10:10, Ephesians 1 and 2)
2. Repent and be baptized for the forgiveness of your sins and ask God to give you the Holy Spirit. (Acts 2:38; 19:1-6; Romans 6:1-11; Luke 11:13; 1 Corinthians 12)
3. God’s commandment is to love God and man. (Matthew 22:37-39)
4. Overcome Satan and his plans for you. (Revelation 12:11)
5. Walk in the light and confess your sins to God. (1 John 1: 7-9)
6. Study the Word of God. (Romans 15:4, 2 Timothy 2:15)
7. Fellowship, encourage, and serve each other. (Hebrews 10:25, Acts 10: 32; Galatians 5:13)
8. Remember that God has prepared a place for you to dwell with Him and a new city and a new heaven and earth. (John 14: 2 and 3; Revelation Chapters 21 and 22)
